All divisions of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas will be closed to in-person visitors on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to hazardous weather and anticipated overnight re-freezing. According to a notice from the court, “Due to dangerous weather conditions and expected re-freezing overnight, all divisions of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas are closed to in-person visitors on Monday, January 26, 2026. Clerk’s office staff will work remotely.”

Court proceedings scheduled for that day will be rescheduled. The court stated, “All Texas Western Bankruptcy Court proceedings scheduled for Monday, January 26, 2026, will be reset to another date.”

Despite the closure of physical offices, electronic services remain operational. The PACER/ECF system is available for filing or accessing documents electronically. The court’s website at www.txwb.uscourts.gov also remains accessible.

The decision affects all locations under the jurisdiction of the Western District of Texas.
