In a recent court filing, a group of plaintiffs consisting of Ronald Soto, Roderick Bell, Jose Salmeron, Darlene “Joy” Schumpert, Jacob “Jake” Jordan, Dettrick Winters, Charles Tillman, and Eric Jenkins have brought a lawsuit against DHL Express (USA), Inc. The case was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The plaintiffs allege that they were subjected to systemic race discrimination and retaliation while working at DHL’s facilities in Texas. The complaint highlights violations under the Civil Rights Act of 1866 and claims related to unlawful FMLA retaliation and workers’ compensation claim retaliation.
