The case, filed on October 9, 2025, alleges violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Title I of the Civil Rights Act of 1991. The plaintiffs claim they were subjected to sexual harassment and retaliation while employed at a Flint Hills Resources location in Corpus Christi, Texas. Miriam Tijerina-Davila alleges persistent harassment by an employee named Robert Perez, which led to her termination after reporting the conduct. Her husband, Gilbert Davila, claims he was terminated due to his association with her and his efforts to report the harassment.
