A Mansfield woman has pleaded guilty to four federal counts of sexual exploitation of children after producing explicit videos involving a minor, according to an announcement from United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Ryan Raybould.

Marisa Witkop, 31, was indicted by a federal grand jury in October of last year. She faces a minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum sentence of 30 years for each count, with the total possible sentence reaching up to 120 years in federal prison. Court documents state that Witkop produced four videos featuring a nine-year-old child and distributed some of these videos through a social media application. Sentencing is set for June 9, 2026, before Senior United States District Judge Terry R. Means in Fort Worth.

The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Secret Service and the Mansfield Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division.

“This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative, which was launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Led by U.S. Attorney’s Offices and the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to better locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children, and identify and rescue victims,” according to information provided about the initiative.
