The case was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas on October 22, 2025. Washington claims he was terminated from his position as Director of Risk/Loss Prevention at the W Dallas – Victory Hotel due to discriminatory practices based on race, gender, and age. He alleges that he was treated less favorably than younger, non-African American female managers and subjected to disproportionate disciplinary actions. The lawsuit seeks reinstatement or front pay, back pay, compensatory damages for emotional distress, punitive damages for malicious conduct, and damages for defamation.
