A former Brink’s, Inc. employee was sentenced on April 27 to 171 months in federal prison for robbing two Brink’s armored trucks, according to United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Ryan Raybould.

The sentencing of Isaiah Warren, age 25, follows his conviction for interfering with commerce by robbery and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence. In addition to the prison term, Senior United States District Judge David C. Godbey ordered Warren to pay $696,700 in restitution.

Court documents show that on November 30, 2024, Warren approached a Brink’s driver at DolEx Dollar Express in Irving while wearing all black and a ski mask. He pressed a handgun under the driver’s body armor and took both the driver’s firearm and a tote bag containing about $34,700 before fleeing. On December 31, 2024, Warren admitted that he and another individual robbed another Brink’s truck at Educational Employees Credit Union in Fort Worth as the driver was refilling ATMs. They forced her back into the truck at gunpoint and stole two cash bags with approximately $662,000 before escaping after confronting an EECU security guard.

On January 3, 2025, police stopped Warren in Gainesville after he ran a red light. Officers found him with a Springfield XD .40 caliber handgun used in both robberies as well as marijuana and nearly $98,800 in stolen cash.

The FBI Dallas Field Office investigated this case while Assistant U.S. Attorney Rick Calvert prosecuted it.
