Diana Baker has filed a lawsuit against Alimak Group USA Inc. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. The complaint alleges age discrimination after Baker, who was employed as a National Parts Manager, was terminated despite her excellent performance. The lawsuit claims that Baker and other older managers were targeted for termination as part of a restructuring plan by the company. Baker asserts that her dismissal violated the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and did not comply with the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act. She seeks damages including lost wages, liquidated damages, reinstatement or front pay, and attorney’s fees.
